Hey, I’m Samantha, the founder of Dimension 10.
Five years ago, I stepped into my first festival, and like so many others, I was hooked instantly. The energy, the music, the freedom—it felt like stepping into another world. But it didn’t take long for me to realize that not everything about festivals is effortless.
The Moment That Changed Everything
At EDC, after just one night, a report came out—hundreds of cell phones had been stolen. I immediately felt vulnerable, constantly clutching my bag, pulling it to my chest, feeling that low-key paranoia that someone might snatch my stuff. In a space where you’re supposed to be free, lost in the moment, vibing without worry, that frustration stuck with me.
I searched for a secure bag—something that was functional, lightweight, and actually looked cool. The options? Ugly, clunky, and impossible to access quickly. So I started experimenting—buying bags, sewing on locks, tearing them apart, rebuilding them. But nothing was just right.
